Ariadne Athens candles are hand-poured with soy wax and feature lead-free wicks for a clean burn. Trim the wick to 5-6 mm before each use and place on a stable, heat-resistant surface. For an even burn, allow the top layer of wax to fully liquefy during the first use. Extinguish and cool the candle before relighting.

Candle Safety: Keep candles at least 2 feet away from flammable items such as clothing, books, or curtains, and always place them on a sturdy, heat-resistant surface large enough to catch any melted wax. Avoid placing lit candles near drafts, ceiling fans, or air currents. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and always extinguish it before leaving the room or going to sleep. Candles should not be burned for more than 4 hours at a time, and use should be discontinued when only 1/4 inch of wax remains in the container.
